From February 17 to 19, 2023, an ALS course in advanced life support measures was held at Terme Jezerčica in Donja Stubica. A total of 8 instructors from the Croatian Medical Association held a course for the employees of the Department of Emergency Medicine of the Krapina-Zagorje County who were familiar with the latest scientific knowledge and the necessary skills in care according to the guidelines of the ERC (European Resuscitation Council).

The basics of acute coronary syndromes, cardiac arrest in special circumstances and cardiac arrhythmias are covered.

Special topics were covered as well: airway maintenance, defibrillation, use of drugs in cardiac arrest, algorithm of advanced life support measures, ethical and legal aspects of cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
