On Thursday, October 6, 2022. in the premises of the Predionica Klanjec d.o.o. factory. a cross-border demonstration exercise of the emergency services of the Krapina-Zagorje County was held in cooperation with Slovenian partners with the aim of improving cooperation, practicing protocols and improving the knowledge and skills of emergency services employees.

The exercise simulated an explosion in a factory and a traffic accident with a large number of casualties, and the employees and volunteers of the: KZŽ Fire Brigade, Zagorje Public Fire Brigade - Klanjec, Voluntary Fire Brigades from the Klanjec area, and the Institute of Emergency Medicine KZŽ, MUP - Police Administration of Krapina-Zagorje, HGSS - Station Zlatar Bistrica, Society Crveni križ KZŽ and Firefighters Association Šmarje pri Jelšah (Slovenia), i.e. all services that would be available to the Civil Protection Headquarters in a real situation demonstrated their rescue skills and work methods. The leader of the exercise was Stjepan Skuliber, the head of the Civil Protection Headquarters of the KZŽ and the chief commander of the Fire Brigade of the KZŽ. We would like to thank all the employees and volunteers in the organization for their cooperation and engagement for the successfully conducted exercise, as well as the visitors who arrived.
