A large pilot exercise for mass accidents was held in Hum na Sutli

On Saturday, April 22, a large pilot exercise for mass accidents was held in Hum on the Sutla. 30 emergency services from Croatia and Slovenia participated in the exercise with: about 250 employees and volunteers - firefighters, policemen, emergency medical workers, HGSS and Red Cross, Air Force pilots, divers, civil protection and other participants from Krapina Zagorje County and the Savinja Region with over 40 special vehicles, of which the biggest attraction for spectators is the helicopter of the Croatian Air Force.

The main organizer of the exercise is the Krapina-Zagorje County, so the event itself was attended by the prefect Željko Kolar, who said that this was another opportunity to see the level of training of the intervention forces, but this time in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense and friends from neighboring Slovenia. The chief fire commander, Mr. Slavko Tucaković, was also present at the exercise, and it attracted a large number of spectators due to its attractiveness. Zagorje Development Agency, as the leading partner of the project, and Slovenian partners Development Agency Sotla and Municipality of Rogatec participated in the organization. The main coordinators of the exercise were Marijan Lovrenčić, commander of the Fire Brigade of the Krapina-Zagorje County, and Marjan Čuček, commander of the VZO Hum
